If you want to try a different route, this is the place. Hike across a snowy forest to reach a frozen small lake. Fun is guaranteed with plastic sleds to slide on the snow. We know that, in winter, you crave for the best regional cuisine. Here, there are specially designed, heated spots to have the best meals, surrounded by a dreamy forest and set with the spirit of the mountain and Patagonia.
- National Snow Festival -
Join us for a celebration!
Every winter, San Carlos de Bariloche hosts one of its most popular events: the National Snow Festival. The festival honors the mountain culture of the city, combining traditional events and new attractions, in a celebration that kicks off the season of Argentina’s main snow resort.
The festival is on for one week, including mass events that wrap up with the election of the National Snow Queen at the Civic Center of Bariloche. During the celebration, you can enjoy music shows, contests, art shows and sports events. The festival opens on the mountains with a spectacular “torch parade” where all ski teams and schools come down the slopes carrying lightened torches at sunset. A brilliant experience that will fill you with excitement.
